Character&Purpose ：

Red or yellow in color, prone to oxidation upon exposure to air. It is utilized as a depilatory agent for hides and skins, in the manufacturing processes of rubber, sulfur dyes, rayon (specifically in the denitrating process), paper pulp, ore flotation, metal refining, engraving, cotton printing, as a chemical intermediate, and as a laboratory reagent.
